ALESSI | Basket 'La Stanza dello Scirocco' | Mario Trimarchi  

The ALESSI basket “La Stanza dello Scirocco” (the scirocco room), designed by Italian architect Mario Trimarchi, was inspired by the Sicilian storm wind called Scirocco and the room in large Sicilian country homes that serves as an escape from the Scirocco. This basket is made up of geometrically irregular stainless steel pieces of various sizes interlaced in an unstable balance. Finished in beautifully reflective polished 18/10 stainless steel.
