The ALESSI Parmenide Cheese Grater, designed by Alejandro Ruiz and CSA, features a 18/10 stainless steel grater with cellar in red translucent thermo-plastic resin. It stores grated cheese (or other foods) for easy removal and comfortably fits into the palm of your hand. The grater blade snaps over the base and is easily detached for washing. While being a beautiful gift it is also a very practical one.The Parmenide grater is part of the permanent design collection at the MOMA in New York.
