When this cleverly designed Royal VKB nutcracker is twisted, the nut stays in the container and can be cracked just to the level you need in order to peel of the shell. In comparison to a classic nutcracker no strength is needed! No more sudden cracks with bits and pieces of nuts flying past your eyes. The rotatable lid has two different sides, one side for small nuts and the other side for larger nuts. The transparent bowl allows you to see when the nut is cracked. Designer

Ineke Hans. She graduated from the Academy of Arts in 1991 and from the Royal College of Art in London in 1995 and works since 1998 under the name INEKEHANS/ARNHEM designs products and environments. She is known for "Ordinary Furniture" from recycled plastic and her black childrens collection as well as black porcelain. In 2003 she published a book "Black Bazar - design dilemmas"
