Parrot shaped corkscrew with multi-coloured dot design
Typical Alessi - take a traditional corkscrew and, with the help of world-renown designer Alessandro Mendini, turn it into something extraordinary. Mendini saw the hidden shape of a parrot in the traditional pocket-sized sommelier tool, intensified it with a few well appointed tweaks to the original design and added bright colours. The result is fun and functional. The charming, parrot shaped corkscrew Parrot Proust is an object between art and design and became another highlight in the long line of design classics by Alessi. It is made from strong, mirror-polished cast aluminium and multi-coloured, hand-decorated polycarbonate. A crown cork opener and small foil blade are also included.
