Lexon Flip+ alarm clock switches on and off simply by flipping it over

The purple Flip alarm clock by French design company Lexon has on one side the inscription ON, on the other OFF. When ON is on top, it indicates that the alarm clock is activated. The set alarm time appears at the bottom right corner of the LCD screen next to the actual time. On this side, there is also a snooze button and a light button. If you turn the alarm clock to the other side so that OFF is visible, the alarm is off.
The idea of this alarm clock is to forces you to move, and once woken tries to keep you awake. At night, when you touch it, the display lights up, and you can check the time. Because of its size, it can also be used as a travel alarm clock. In some countries like, e.g. Europe, the Flip+ alarm can even receive the RCC signal, which automatically adjusts the time radio-controlled.
The award-winning Flip alarm clock was designed by the brothers Adrian and Jeremy Wright, the duo behind DesignWright. It received the prestigious red dot design award as "best of the best" in 2013.
