The white Frolic lamp is elegant in a minimalist way. It nicely combines natural wood's warm texture and tone with precise geometric shapes constructed of robust, lacquered steel. The black and white herringbone cable hangs almost loosely and gives the Frolic luminaire's design a cheeky, mischievous feel. The light is mainly emitted downwards onto the table and somewhat intensified and spread by the matt white lacquered baseplate. The lampshade, which is likewise lacquered white, prevents light from radiating out to the sides. Thus, the objects on the table are illuminated, while you are not dazzled. However, a tiny portion of the light passes through the upper opening and softly illuminates the surroundings.
