MoMA History of Art Wall Clock

The MoMA History of Art Wall Clock features whimsical illustrations that outline the history of art with smiley faces appropriately altered in the styles of famous artists: Leonardo da Vinci, Rembrandt, Claude Monet, Mark Rothko, Salvador Dalí, Andy Warhol, Pablo Picasso and Jackson Pollock.
The sketches are based on smileys apparently drawn by a teacher named Donald Seitz in 1991. We say apparently, because when you try to find anything about an illustrator, designer or teacher, Donald Seitz, it is very likely that you draw a blank. Has he ever existed, or is this one of the great mysteries of the MoMA? Find out for yourself!
Nevertheless, these sketches are not only good fun but also well-loved all over the world. You can find them printed on mugs, umbrellas, coasters, shopping totes, posters, etc.
The analogue, black-and-white wall clock with yellow hands requires one AA battery (not included) and is a good idea for fans of the history of artists in MoMA's collection. Gift boxed.
