Ritzenhoff Whisky Tumbler by Pietro Chierar

RITZENHOFF commissioned Sieger Design to develop the optimal Whisky Glass. The result is this new interpretation of the classic tumbler. The wide body, allows the aroma to unfold perfectly, while the tapered opening shields the whisky. At the same time, the solid base prevents the cool drink from being heated by the owner's hands.
Next, RITZENHOFF commissioned artists and designers to further enhance the whisky glass with their individual designs. This decoration on this glass comes from Pietro Chiera, a successful industrial designer from Madrid. It stylises the 'legs' or 'tears' on the inside of a glass indicate body and texture of a good whisky.
