What You’ll Need:
- A spirit level (to make sure he’s sitting straight).
- A drill or screwdriver.
- One screw and a wall plug (specific to your wall type, e.g., plasterboard vs. brick).
Mounting Steps:
- Find the Perfect Spot: Choose a height that’s easy to reach. Remember, these hooks look great in a "flock"—if you have the Kookaburra or Koala as well, space them about 20-30 cm apart.
- Mark the Hole: On the back of the metal hook, there is a pre-drilled keyhole slot. Mark the position on your wall with a pencil.
- Secure the Screw: Drill your hole and insert a wall plug if necessary. Drive the screw into the wall, leaving about 3-5 mm of the screw head sticking out.
- The "Swoop": Align the keyhole on the back of the Magpie with the screw head and gently slide it down until it clicks into place.
