Hand-carved Koala Wall Hook by Wildlife Garden

The name Koala is an aboriginal word and it means ”an animal that never drinks”. Koalas are instantly recognisable as a symbol of Australia and one of our most famous animals. They live nowhere else in the world but Australia! Unfortunately, their numbers are in decline as their habitat continuous to be be destroyed for agricultural and urban development due to weakened tree-clearing laws in Queensland and New South Wales.
Our cute Koala hook features a strong metal hook that can easily hold towels, jackets, jewellery or even a school bag.
The animal head is carefully and intricately hand-carved from lime wood and painted with water-based acrylic paint. Each head is a little different and, therefore, unique. The koala head and the sturdy metal hook together are approx. 11 cm high and 5 cm wide.
Most impressive are ensembles of several Wildlife Garden animal heads. For example, arrange a cockatoo, a kookaburra and a kangaroo together with the koala
A great gift idea for any occasion that brings a bit of wilderness into any room and is a guaranteed success!
