Hand-carved Grey Wolf Wall Hook by Wildlife Garden
Wolves have fascinated humans for thousands of years and are part of numerous mythologies, fairy tales and legends. The accounts range from Amorok in Inuit mythology to the wolf that suckled Romulus and Remus to the fairy tale of Little Red Riding Hood. Not to forget, our most popular pet, the dog, is also descended from the wolf.
The Grey Wolf head is carefully and intricately hand-carved from lime wood and painted with water-based acrylic paint. Each head is a little different and, therefore, unique. Attached is a strong metal hook which can easily hold towels, jackets, jewellery or even a school bag.
The wolf head and the sturdy metal hook together are approx. 11 cm high and 5 cm wide.
Most impressive are ensembles of several Wildlife Garden animal heads. For example arrange a red deer, a brown bear and a red fox together with the grey wolf.
