Hand-carved Galah Wall Hook by Wildlife Garden
The Galah, also known as the pink and grey cockatoo or rose-breasted cockatoo, is a crucial seed disperser - many seeds germinate after galahs carry them to another site and then drop them intact or partially eaten. It's interesting to note that male galahs have dark brown eyes while females have pink eyes.
The animal head is carefully and intricately hand-carved from lime wood and painted with water-based acrylic paint. The attached strong metal hook can easily hold a towel, jewellery, a school bag, or a jacket. Because each head varies slightly, they are all unique. Together, the galah head and the robust metal hook measure around 11 cm in height and 5 cm in width.
Most impressive are ensembles of several Wildlife Garden animal heads. For example, set up a koala, a kookaburra and a cockatoo together with the galah wall hook.
A fantastic present for any occasion that instantly adds a touch of wildness to just about every space!
