Hand-carved Red Fox Wall Hook by Wildlife Garden
The red fox is known for its long bushy tail and lustrous rusty orangish-red fur. In many fables, tales and myths, it was portrayed as a cunningly intelligent animal. A good example is Aesop's 'The Fox and the Crow'. For all those whose favourite animal in the forest is the Red Fox, here it comes carefully and intricately hand-carved from lime wood and painted with water-based acrylic paint. Each head is a little different and, therefore, unique. Attached is a strong metal hook that can easily hold towels, jackets, jewellery or even a school bag. The fox head and the sturdy metal hook together are approx. 11 cm high and 5.3 cm wide.
