Scandinavian Design Meets Italian Tradition

Scandinavian minimalism meets the soul of an Italian espresso bar—this is the stovetop essential for those who take their caffeine with a side of serious style.

Why You’ll Love It

  • Aesthetic Overload: Finished in a sleek, Teflon-coated matte black that looks just as good on your bookshelf as it does on your stove.

  • Barista-Quality Brew: Engineered to create rich, full-bodied espresso using the classic steam-pressure method.

  • Eco-Friendly Rubberwood: The natural rubberwood handle stays cool to the touch and adds a warm, sustainable contrast to the industrial steel.

  • The Perfect Pressie: Whether it’s a housewarming or a self-care treat, this is the gift that actually gets used.

The Deeper Dive

Designed by award-winning duo Daniel Debiasi and Federico Sandri, the Stelton Collar Espresso Maker is a masterclass in Scandinavian minimalism. While its silhouette is undeniably modern, it pays homage to the traditional Italian moka pot.

Crafted from stainless steel with a sophisticated matte black coating, the Collar is built for the design-conscious Australian home. It features a beautiful, sustainable rubberwood grip—a clever choice of material known for its durability and resistance to moisture. Perfect for mid-century modern kitchens or minimalist apartments, it turns your morning caffeine hit into a ritual.

  • Volume of the water chamber is approx. 250 ml (approx. 4 - 5 cups)

  • Not suitable for induction hobs, but the Moka pot can be used on all stoves including induction stoves when used together with a steel adapter.
  • Do not boil dry!
  • Please wash by hand only.
  • Dimension 11.0 x 18.5 x 18.5 cm

How to brew and enjoy a rich and delicious coffee in five steps

  • Step 1 Fill the water chamber with cold water up to the underside of the safety valve
  • Step 2 Insert the funnel filter and fill it with freshly ground coffee, do not tamp the coffee grounds. Set the filter plate top of the coffee, then screw the top half onto the lower heater unit.
  • Step 3 Place the coffeemaker onto your heat source for about 4-6 min.
  • Step 4 Remove the coffee maker from heat source.
  • Step 5 Pour and enjoy!

FAQ

  • Is this a good housewarming gift? Absolutely. It’s the ultimate "safe-but-impressive" gift. Because it bridges the gap between functional kitchenware and high-end decor, it’s perfect for friends who have just moved and want to curate a "grown-up" kitchen vibe.
  • How do I clean the Stelton Collar espresso maker? To keep that matte finish and the oak handle looking mint, we recommend a gentle hand wash with warm soapy water. Avoid the dishwasher—the wooden handle prefers a quick wipe-down and air dry.
  • What kind of coffee should I use? For the best results, use a medium-to-fine grind specifically labeled for Moka pots or stovetop espresso. It’ll give you that rich crema and bold flavour the Collar is known for.
